Penny immediately asked, "Why should we pay ten thousand?"
The "Monkey King” retorted tempestuously, "Come on, don't play dumb with me. Do you think it's free to take photos with me? I'm charging one thousand per photo. Since you've taken more than ten photos, I'm giving you a discount by charging only ten thousand."
Penny was appalled and enraged.
Kylie scolded him, "Hey! What kind of tourist attraction is this? Are you here to rob us?"
Even Benson, who was known to be soft, couldn't help but comment in dismay, "Exactly! Don't you think it's too much to charge a thousand per photo?"
Because the group refused to pay, the mascot staff immediately asked his colleagues for help.
Again, Liam, the plump and intimidating manager, came up to them.
Following Liam were over a dozen staff with batons in their hands.
As soon as Liam arrived, he yelled at Penny and her family, "Fxxk, it's you all again. You refused to pay for photo-taking earlier on, and now you want to repeat the same trick. Are you looking for trouble?"
Even though he was ferocious, Penny didn't budge. "Hey, watch your mouth! We're willing to pay if the fee is reasonable, but we won't pay such an exorbitant amount."
Liam sneered, "Well, taking photos is about consensus. The fees are already stated as such. However, you didn't ask about the fees before taking photos, so you can only blame yourself for being stupid. You'd better pay now or I'll ask my men to throw you out of this place."
When Liam was speaking, the Monkey King and other staff continued to stare at Penny and her family menacingly.
They frightened Queenie and made her cry.
Meanwhile, the other tourists looked at them sympathetically and remarked softly, "They're definitely not locals; otherwise, they would know the management is always out to rob tourists. What a pity!"
"All locals like us know Liam Dylan as the Tyrant of Bossania. Since he's rich and well-connected, he always bullies the nonlocals who don't know him."
"Yup, he would beat the hell out of tourists who refuse to pay."
Penny didn't expect that the tourist attraction was practically a trap set up by robbers.
When she was about to argue with them, Nathan had finished his call and had come back to rejoin his family.
Pretending that he didn't know Penny and that he was not aware of what happened, Nathan feigned surprise as he exclaimed, "Oh! It's the Monkey King!”
