Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1571

Colin added, “It's obvious Ms. Davier and the rest came after you. Do you want to head there now? Otherwise, Chauncey will have a hard time.”

“Prepare my car. Let's see how the preparation is going for the birthday banquet. We might as well see what the kids are after,” Nathan commanded coolly.

“Understood.”

Meanwhile, back at Crescent Moon Hotel, Chauncey was stuck in a tight spot.

Nathan arrived just in time with Colin and the Elite Eight in several Jeeps when he was on the verge of breaking down.

When he stepped out of his vehicle, Chauncey and his staff swarmed toward him. “Mr. Cross, you're finally here!” he exclaimed in a trembling voice.

Phoebe, Donnie and Marshall scowled at the sight of Nathan.

As Chauncey was sweating profusely, Nathan shot him a smile. “Mr. Stanson, what is going on?”

“Mr. Cross, you booked our hotel yesterday,” answered Chauncey. “But today, Ms. Davies, Mr. Waters, and Mr. Herrington from Brimmopolis arrived and insisted on reserving the entire hotel. They want you to make way for them—”

His gaze landed on the rich kids from Brimmopolis as he snickered. “Kids, it's my wife's birthday today. Do me a favor, and stop kicking

up a fuss here.”

Phoebe and her gang were in their twenties, but they were around Nathan's age.

How dare Nathan treat us as kids?

Anger welled up in Donnie, Marshall, and the rest of the young men.

However, Phoebe merely scoffed coolly. “Nathan, we don't even know you. Why would we do you a favor?”

Donnie stepped forward. “Yes, that's right. Your wife's birthday has nothing to do with us!”

“Ms. Davies' dog is celebrating its birthday, too.
