Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1609

On Dragon Hill, Wilfred stood motionless in front of Santiago's grave.

Though his face was expressionless, he couldn't hide the grief and indignation in his eyes.

Ten years ago, he was imprisoned, and the Lieberman family was about to go to rack and ruin. However, his beloved son turned the tides and took charge of the family single-handedly.

Not only did Santiago stop the Lieberman family from going downhill, their family also started to flourish under his leadership these two years.

While Wilfred was still in the prison, he was pleased and ecstatic to know about his son's achievements. Santiago was the most competent one in the family.

His initial plan was to wait for Hansel to retire. Then, he would get in touch with his old friends and subordinates to get him out of the prison.

Afterward, he would return to the political arena and regain his power.

With his help and guidance, Santiago would reach new heights of success and become the president, fulfilling the goal which he himself couldn't attain.

However, never had he thought that his son died before he was released from prison, and he would never get to see Santiago anymore.

Standing in front of his son's grave, his previous plans and ambitions were shattered into pieces.

The only thing left within him was an unbearable sorrow and fury.

I must avenge my son's death!

Wilfred's eyes glinted with extreme resentment. Clenching his fists, he asked slowly in a merciless voice, “Is Nathan Cross, the disciple of Hansel, the one who killed my son?”

“Yes, Sir. Nathan Cross was the one who killed

Mr. Santiago,” the butler of the Lieberman family, Greyson answered. He was also Wilfred's righthand man.

“Mr. Santiago was about to get back together with Ms. Davies, but the both of them offended

Nathan unintentionally. In the end, he died at the hands of Nathan...”

Wilfred replied coldly, “I only want to know who the murderer is, and I don't care why he took my son's life. Now I'll make him pay the price for killing my son!”

Sensing the intense hatred in Wilfred, Greyson and the others dared not say a word.

Wilfred said bitterly through gritted teeth, “My son is so obedient and outstanding. He hasn't even gotten married. How could Nathan do this to him?”
