Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1636

Hagen laughed. “Who do you think you are?”

“If you don't apologize to her, I will break your leg as well as the rest of your limbs until you do,” Nathan repeated himself calmly.

How dare he!The nerve of this guy!

Hagen lost his temper, shouting, “I see you have a death wish! Then I'm counting on you, Ghoul!”

Ghoul jumped down from the boxing ring, looking absolutely murderous as he made his way towards Nathan.

Colin, standing beside Nathan, stepped forward to shield his master.

Sensing the domineering air radiating off of Colin, Ghoul realized that Colin was not to be

underestimated and stopped in his tracks.

Cheryl knew Nathan's true identity, but she also knew that Hagen was Boris Tucker's rightful heir.

Nathan might be the God of War, but Boris Tucker was one of the Great Cabinet Members.

Now that President Windsor, to whom Nathan was greatly indebted, was sick and weak, Nathan's political influence alone was nowhere near that of Boris'.

Not wanting to drag Nathan into her troubles, she rushed forward to stop him, quietly telling him, “There's no use trying to reason with him.

Let's just go.”

Hagen was upset seeing Ghoul be so wary of his opponent, asking him in a low voice, “What are you waiting for?”

Ghoul glanced over at Colin. “This bodyguard guy is a professional.”

Hagen furrowed his eyebrows. “Are you confident you'll win?”

“If it's a fight to the death, I am seventy percent confident,” Ghoul replied slowly.

Colin sneered at him. “Killing you will be as easy as slaughtering a chicken.”

Ghoul blew his head off as soon as he heard that.

Everyone was wide-eyed at the new development. The conflict was initially between Nathan and Hagen, but now Nathan's bodyguard was provoking Hagen's boxer on purpose.
