Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1682

Kremlin's face turned pale right then.

Nathan fixed his gaze on Kai and uttered coldly, “Tell your elders and everyone else everything that happened earlier. No lying and no exaggeration; just the truth.”

The previously arrogant Kai had almost peed his pants after knowing Nathan's identity. Hence, he dared not lie anymore and gave a full account of everything that had happened, including how he had harassed Penny and got beaten up by the enraged Nathan.

He even mentioned the recent encounter when he had gathered his group of friends and thugs to take revenge on Nathan.

It was then Justin and Kremlin realized it had been Kai's fault all along.

Nathan added when Kai was done, “Now that all of you have heard the truth, I have a question for you. Do you want to settle it publicly or privately?”

“How do you want to settle it? Publicly or privately?” asked Justin anxiously.

“If you want it public, then we'll bring it to court and follow the procedures of the law,” Nathan answered nonchalantly.

Right then, a traffic police entered hastily from outside.

He rushed to Kremlin's side and whispered into his ear. “Captain, we have found out the Audi owner who has crashed into your son's car. The Audi is registered under the White House, and it's the private drive used by the First Lady, Camilla Quinn.”

Kremlin's face turned uglier at that news. That could only mean if they wanted to settle it in court, the First Lady would be involved as well.

Plus, it was his son's fault to begin with. If this case were to be brought up to the court, his son would definitely lose this case. He would be at the receiving end of Nathan and the First Lady's wrath once they went to court.

“General, it's indeed my son's fault this time. He shouldn't have harassed your wife in the first place, and shouldn't come after you after that. He should never have destroyed your car and utter those horrendous words to your wife either. Knowing we're in the wrong for this, we would like to settle it privately.”

“If you want to settle it privately, then show me what you have to offer,” Nathan replied coldly.

Kremlin gritted his teeth in response. “It's my son who created all this trouble. I shall teach him a lesson now.”

With that, he turned around and lashed out at his son angrily. “You good-for-nothing bastard! How dare you mess with the General of the North! I shall beat you to death right now and put this matter at rest!”

He then raised his arm and slapped Kai hard; instantly, Kai's face started bleeding.

Kremlin then stole a glance at Nathan, who showed no signs of letting him stop. He knew right then that Nathan was far from satisfied with his punishment.

Clenching his teeth, Kremlin picked up a metal rod on the floor and brought it down on his son again and again. “You ruthless bas*ard! Let me teach you a good lesson!” Kremlin scolded while hitting his son.
