Hayley sneered, “A poor man who can't even afford an expensive suit is talking about acquiring Brimmopolis¹ top apparel shop. If I didn't know you're a homeless orphan, I'd almost believe it. Haha...”
Quincey, the shop manager said to Nathan, “Sir, a poor man will always be a poor man. You can't redeem your dignity just because you're good at bragging. If you don't want to be escorted out by the security guards, please leave on your own.”
Penny and Kylie were totally infuriated.
However, Nathan was composed as usual. He stared at Hayley and Quincey calmly and stated, “I've said this before, this clothing store will be acquired by me in ten minutes. By then, both of you will be kicked out of here.”
After pausing for a moment, Quincey said in a cold tone, “Sir, if you don't come to your own senses, then the only thing I can do is to ask the bodyguards to kick you out.”
Having said that, just when she was about to instruct a shop assistant next to her to call security, Hayley rolled her eyes and stopped her.
With a snobbish look on her face, Hayley suggested, “Ms. Gant, we don't need to rush the bodyguards to kick them out. Didn't this fella brag that he will acquire the shop in ten minutes? We shall wait for ten minutes to look at their pity faces when his lies are exposed.”
Quincey smiled upon hearing that and agreed. “Very well, we will go according to what Ms. Sanders said. We can't wait to see how the situation unfolds for him.”
Hayley, Quincey and the rest continued to stare at Nathan mockingly while they waited. The seconds ticked away as the fateful time got closer.
Hayley took a glance at her watch and just when she was about to announce that the ten-minute time was up, a few luxurious cars suddenly came roaring from the outside.
At that moment, a middle-aged man wearing a pair of gold-rimmed glasses hurried in with a group of men in suits while carrying a briefcase.
