Nathan was enjoying his time with Garrett, Zach, and Lucas. What the men didn't know was that at the rooftop of the building next to “Bittersweet Memories” farmhouse restaurant, a bald, strong-built man dressed in black with a barcode image tattooed at the back of his head was assembling a sniper rifle under the moonlight.
There was also an evil-looking dragon head symbol tattooed on the back of his left hand.
That man was Maldragon, the newest King of Assassins in the assassins' world, who was born in Valeview.
Maldragon grew up in a complicated environment in Valeview and received training in North Koandria and South Koandria thereafter. He was already known to be a formidable and ruthless assassin in both North Koandria and South Koandria ten years back. It was only recently that he made a name for himself globally.
Maldragon had been more active in Ospea in recent years.
The only reason he appeared in Eurasia was because of a mission which paid extremely well and that was to kill Nathan.
Nathan had enemies all over the globe and there were many people who wanted him to die. There were also countless people who attempted to take his life over the years.
However, be it mercenaries or assassins, as long as they stepped foot in Eurasia, none of them managed to return back to where they came from.
As such, fewer and fewer killers were willing to take on missions that required them to get rid of Nathan.
However, the reward for killing Nathan grew increasingly handsome year after year.
Just the previous night, the Goldstein family had put up a reward for killing Nathan on the most established website for assassination jobs. The bounty for getting rid of Nathan was so high that a new record was set.
Assassins all over the world were extremely tempted by the handsome reward and everyone was after it. Besides, the one who eventually managed to kill Nathan, Eurasia's God of War, would definitely make a name for himself globally and become a legend in the assassins' world.
However, even though they desired the handsome reward, most ordinary assassins were aware of where they stood and knew that it was impossible for them to kill Nathan. As such, no one dared to take such a huge risk.
However, that did not apply to Maldragon.
He chose to become a killer because he enjoyed the satisfaction and excitement he felt when he killed famous or powerful people, including those insufferable wealthy bosses of major corporations, military big shots, and political high-flyers.
