Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1835

Meanwhile, late at night in a VIP ward at Union Hospital.

The room was covered in darkness except for the dim moonlight that shone through the window and illuminated the floor.

Leaser was fast asleep and snoring in bed.

Crack!

The door opened silently and a white figure slid into the room.

A man dressed in a doctor's gown and wearing a face mask turned on the lights.

As Leaser tried to open his eyes in a daze, the bright glaring light prevented him from doing so. All he could see was a faint shadow of a man in

white. Hence, he assumed it to be a doctor.

Feeling upset, he complained, “Didn't I finish my medicine before bed? Why do you need to check in the middle of the night?”

The man in the doctor's gown didn't respond. All he did was put a briefcase on the table in front and opened it.

Inside, there was an array of syringes, medication, surgery knives, and other tools.

The man took out a syringe and fixed a needle on top. Then he filled it by extracting some liquid from a bottle...

Meanwhile, Leaser struggled to sit up. Furrowing his eyebrows, he gave the doctor a puzzled look. “Another injection?”

The doctor remained silent, raising Leaser's

suspicions.

Suddenly, he noticed that the doctor had a conspicuous tattoo on the back of his left arm.

It looked like a fearsome skull that had a dagger stabbed in its head, striking fear into anyone that saw it.

It's rare to see a doctor with a tattoo.

As doubt filled his head, Leaser quickly noticed that underneath the doctor's gown, he was wearing a pair of combat boots.

Boom!

Leaser's heart skipped a beat.

As he gave the doctor who was preparing the syringe a suspicious look, he asked calmly, “Doctor, why are you doing the rounds alone tonight? Where are your assistants or the other nurses?”
