Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1873

It was the military promotion day that the President would elevate someone to the post of Chief Military Governor. Fighters in the army had already received the orders and gathered in Brimmopolis.

Clifford Davier was ready to put their power to test. They are Elijah Lowe, the commander-in-chief of the East; Lucas Ziegler, the commanderin-chief of the West; Zach Hill, the commanderin-chief of the South; Fang, the temporary commander-in-chief of the North; as well as Will Long, the commander-in-chief of Brimmopolis Capital Garrison.

The commander-in-chief from every district was ordered to bring over their best fighter to the Cabinet. Not long after, they gathered at the martial arts field of the Cabinet.

The field could accommodate up to fifty thousand soldiers at the same time.

The President, all the Cabinet members, and the Cabinet Bodyguards, as well as tens of thousands of soldiers from different military districts were gathered there at that time.

Garrett looked so elegant yet dignified in a suit.

He was surrounded by Clifford, Zion, Jothan, and some other Cabinet members.

In front of them, soldiers from different military districts were standing in neat rows.

On the other side, Elijah, Lucas, Zach, Fang, and Will couldn't help but stare at Nathan Cross.

Nathan was wearing a phoenix military cloak and a Leviathan mask, looking majestic and mysterious at the same time.

Elijah and the others were wondering if that mysterious man in front of them was the Chief Military Governor appointed by President.

Soon, everyone stared with their eyes wide open when they knew it was time to test the fighting power of the Chief Military Governor.

Meanwhile, Elijah and the others were eager to have a try.

In the army, they have always pursued a principle of “power supremacy” and “respecting the strong”.

However, it's not possible to find the best writer, nor is it to find the second-best fighter. Elijah and the others had been fighting in the military for years. They were all strong fighters who had been through many battles. How could they let go of their pride so easily to accept a random person who appeared out of nowhere to be their commander-in-chief?

It'd be great for them to compete with the so-called Chief Military Governor, and get him off his high horse.

At that moment, Clifford said with a half-smile, “Generals and soldiers, the purpose of gathering everyone around here is to let all of you spar with Chief Military Governor. Which one of you brave soldiers is going to take the lead?”

“I'm Hugo Riley, Major General of the West. If I may be so bold, I would like to be the first.”

A strong and burly man in a major general uniform stepped forward from the West Military formation.

The crowd exclaimed softly in shock when they saw Hugo.

Hugo came from a powerful background. He was known to be a formidable general from the West. He was also said to have the best fighting power in the West army after Lucas.
