Fang was the temporary commander-in-chief in the North Army. Moreover, he also had the strongest presence in the North Army after Nathan lost his position.
In fact, even Elijah from the East, South Army's Zach or Lucas from the West would probably not claim that they were stronger than Fang.
Initially, Elijah and the others planned to test Chief Military Governor's ability with their own hands.
Meanwhile, they didn't go any further the moment when Fang made his first move.
Chief Military Governor might be lucky enough to defeat Hugo. But, if he were to conquer Fang, he would definitely need much more than just luck.
Clifford's eyes lit up when he saw Fang stepping forward.
He looked at Nathan with a half-smiling face, “Fang is reputed to be a formidable general from the North. He defeated many fighters from different countries. They couldn't even hold their heads up in front of him. Chief Military Governor, will you take up his challenge?”
Nathan stared at Fang through his Leviathan mask. The corners of his lips curled up, and he replied. “I'm more than willing to spar with Fang!”
Fang saluted Nathan before getting into a fighting stance. He said calmly, “Chief Military Governor, please enlighten me!”
Nathan curled his finger and beckoned. “Come
I”
on!
“Here I come!”
As soon as Fang finished his words, he moved swiftly at a lightning speed. His body disappeared into a shadow as he lunged at Nathan.
The crowd felt a rush of excitement as they witnessed that scene.
As expected, that was the power of the best fighter from the North. His electrifying burst of speed alone was more than enough for elites in the military to submit to him.
Whoosh!
Fang threw a punch on Nathan's face right at the moment when he got close to Nathan.
Nathan took a small step back and slightly tilted his head backward, perfectly avoiding his attack.
Fang missed the punch, but he didn't stop for a single second. He swiftly slashed his elbow towards Nathan's face like a sharp knife.
The strength of his elbow was strong enough to crack the metal and stone.
