Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1885

Within seconds, Colin assembled his sniper rifle and locked his eyes on the enemy sniper situated in the three o'clock direction, as reported by Octo.

The enemy sniper and his partner were in a crouching position, lying on their stomachs as they hid in the shrubs. The enemy sniper had his sniper rifle ready while his partner closely observed the convoy of cars.

Furthermore, Colin could see the enemy sniper's rifle slowly shifting about in the horizontal axis as he tried to pinpoint his target.

Unbeknownst to the enemy snipers, Nathan's sedan was not only bullet-proof but was also equipped with one-way glass.

While Colin could see every little movement his enemies were making, the enemy snipers could not even make out who was in the sedan.

That also meant that the snipers from the Demon Troopers were completely unaware that there was another sniper with his eyes on them from within the sedan.

Raising his sniper rifle and aiming it steadily at the enemy sniper a distance away, Colin said in a low voice, “Sir, I need your help on this.”

Nathan instantly understood what Colin was trying to do. He grabbed the walkie-talkie, and commanded, “Those in your armored SUVs, listen to me. On the count of three, all of you shall open the doors of the front seat and support Colin in taking down the enemy sniper located in the three o'clock direction!”

The members of the Elite Eight at the back of the convoy were all veterans and could all work

well with Colin.

Through their walkie-talkies, they replied assertively, “Yes, sir!”

“Yes, sir!”

“Yes, sir!”

“One... Two... Three!”

In a fraction of a second, the front doors of the three armored SUVs behind the sedan sprung open.

The enemy sniper in the three o'clock direction from them quickly noticed their movements.

Thinking that Nathan's subordinates were planning to make their attack, the enemy sniper quickly pointed his aim at the armored SUVs.

However, apart from the car doors swinging open, there were no further advances. The sniper became rather confused by the situation.

An ominous feeling slowly crept up the spines of him and his partner.

At that very moment, Nathan kicked open the car door at the front of the sedan, revealing Colin, who had readied his sniper rifle.

The enemy sniper's face turned as pale as a sheet. He scrambled to shift his aim to Colin as quickly as possible.
