“Kill them all!” the enemy fighters shouted, raising their weapons and charging towards Nathan and his men.
Nathan dashed between the fighters like a streak of lightning, leaving several of them stunned in his wake.
Just seconds later, the fighters practically disintegrated into pieces and fell to the ground in a heap.
Without stopping to breathe for even a second, Nathan pressed on, slaughtering fighter after fighter and slicing them into pieces.
The other fighters gasped in horror, shocked by the fact that Nathan could still move at the speed of light even with the poison coursing through his veins.
“Stay strong!” Matteo bellowed. “The poison is working its way through his system! We just need to press on and drain his energy!”
However, Nathan and his men showed no signs of slowing down. Another two hundred fighters went down under his blade, and out of the five hundred that showed up on the battlefield, only two hundred were left standing.
Matteo and his men stared at Nathan, wide-eyed and horrified.
The Chief Military Governor fought like the God of War, and Matteo would have rounded up his troops and retreated if Nathan had not been poisoned.
On the other hand, Nathan was finally starting to feel the effects of the poison.
As the dizziness got worse after killing another two hundred men, he began to sway on his feet. His hands grew clammy, and the sword in his hand became heavier as time passed.
Left with no choice, he halted his attack and stuck his sword into the ground before him to conserve his strength.
