Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2051

«l. I I--

Its you!

Its you!

Shae and Penny spoke in unison.

Nathan was surprised. “You guys know each other?”

Penny replied, “Not really. I was nominated as United Nations Messenger of Peace some time ago along with some other candidates. Ms. Shae was one of them. However, I was elected in the end because of Cross Group's special meds for liver cancer and the liver cancer vaccine. It was considered our greatest contribution to world peace.

Nathan was pleasantly surprised. Penny is way too humble. It's such an honor to be elected as

United Nations Messenger of Peace. How could she not tell me about it?

Nathan was about to congratulate his wife when Shae spoke up. “It should have been me. I should have been elected as the United Nations Messenger of Peace. What a small world. I was wondering who had taken Sublime Room. Never thought it would be you, bi**h.

The moment she uttered those words, Nathan's eyes turned cold. “You're asking for it. Slap her.”

Colin was about to strike when Penny quickly stopped him. She said to Nathan, “Hubby, don't bother with people like this. Just let her go.”

Upon hearing her words, Colin whispered, “General, Mrs. Cross has a point. Mrs. Cross has been elected as United Nations Messenger of Peace. Moreover, Shae used to be one of the candidates for United Nations Messenger of

Peace. As the Messenger of Peace, Mrs. Cross will surely be criticized if word got out that you hit Shae. I suggest that you let her go for now. We can always teach her a lesson in the future if necessary.

Nathan suppressed his rage after hearing Colin out and gave Shae a cold look. “All your teeth would have been broken by now if it were up to me. But I'm letting you off this time around for the sake of my wife. Get out of my sight now.”

Shae was dumbfounded when she heard Nathan ordering his men to slap her.

No one had ever dared treat her like that.

She only came back to her senses when Nathan told her to get out of his sight.

Her blood started boiling.
