The next day, Scout set up a banquet at Islesbury Club, inviting all the powerful and influential figures in Brimmopolis.
In the past, he was the most outstanding person amongst the Daviers, known as the Chosen One of the Davier family.
Later, he was demoted to a petty soldier as a punishment for his mistake. He harbored deep resentment and left the country. Now that twenty years had passed, he was no longer the petty soldier.
Not only had he become the national security advisor for a number of countries in the West, he had also built his own security company with tens of thousands of well-equipped mercenaries.
Previously, he left Eurasia after having fallen from grace. Now that he had obtained great achievements, it was time for him to make a grand return. He wanted everyone in the upper-class society to know how successful he was.
Despite showing off his success, the other reason for him organizing this banquet was to kill Nathan before the eyes of Brimopolis's prominent figures.
This would serve as a warning to them not to mess with the Davier family.
Death would be their only outcome for anyone who dared go against the Davier family, and the powerful Nathan was no exception.
The influential figures in Brimmopolis must accept his invitation for the sake of him being a heavy hitter overseas. Apart from that, his identity as Clifford's younger brother was all the more reason for them to treat him with respect.
Hence, all of them arrived at Islesbury Club in time to attend Scout's banquet.
When it was close to noon, the open-air parking lot in front of Islesbury Club was jam-packed with rows of luxury cars.
There were almost a thousand people in the club. In their suits and gowns, these people either came from prominent families or were big shots from the business industry.
They were all chattering in clusters, clinking wine glasses occasionally.
Just then, the voice of the doorman rang out. “Mr. Davier has arrived!”
The guests simultaneously stopped their chatters, turning their gaze to the entrance.
Soon after, they saw Scout in his white suit entering the club. Walking behind him was Mojo and a bunch of stern-looking subordinates.
The guests went over to greet him.
