Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2125

The moment Nathan finished boiling his coffee, some men started to arrive.

A few Jeeps with military plates screeched to a halt in front of them.

Next, a few well-built men in military fatigues alighted from the vehicles.

Penny couldn't help but exclaim in joy, “Fang, Destroyer, Heptakill. The three generals are here!”

Indeed, the men who arrived were Nathan's former subordinates. All three of them had been groomed by Nathan back in the day.

They brought along three National Guards and no one else.

Furthermore, they were not in their general's uniform. Instead, they were just wearing ordinary military fatigues without any insignia.

Their outfits had made it obvious that they were here in their personal capacity to support Nathan.

“General!”

Fang saluted Nathan the moment he stepped into the pavilion.

Nathan replied with a smile, “Naha, Comrade! We're not in the army nor on official business now. So, there's no need to be so formal. Anyway, I just made some coffee. Now that you're here, please give it a try.”

One by one they bantered with each other while taking their seats in the pavilion before tasting Nathan's coffee.

Meanwhile, when Penny realized that the three of them only brought one man each, she began to worry. Is this going to be all of them?Does Nathan actually think that his bunch of comrades are enough to stop the Davier family? Is he pushing his luck?

However, Penny didn't dare voice her concerns to Nathan in front of Fang and the others.

After finishing the first round of coffee and another round was needed, Penny offered, “You guys go ahead and chat, I'll take care of the coffee.”

Just as she spoke, she headed to the clay stove outside the pavilion to brew another round.

Back at the pavilion, Fang updated Nathan softly, “Chief Military Governor, Sage has ordered the three thousand Felidae Battalion members based at headquarters to be ready to deploy.
