There was a dead silence.
It took a few seconds for the soldiers of Eurasia to comprehend what happened, but as soon as they did, everyone went wild.
Colin and the rest of the men were ecstatic, their faces red as they looked at Nathan with admiration in their eyes. “God of War... God of War... God of War!” Every one of them started cheering.
When Reno snapped back into reality, he had more than just astonishment on his face. He started to feel anxious and afraid as well.
Simone's grim face also darkened while Nakajima stared at Nathan.
There was wariness and a cunning glint in his eyes as he narrowed them while he studied Nathan and recalibrated his understanding of his capabilities.
Most of the representatives from many other countries were shocked at the scene and had mixed expressions on their faces. However, Catherine was overjoyed and amazed at what Nathan just did.
At the center of the attention, Nathan raised his foot and used the Mad Lion's uniform to wipe off the blood on his boot.
After that, he turned towards Reno and glared at him. “I won. You should fulfill your end of the bet now, General. Get on your knees and apologize! Apologize to my soldiers who were framed and attacked by your men!”
Reno's expression was changing rapidly as he was panicking.
In the end, he laughed out of the blue. “Hahaha. The God of War from Eurasia. You really lived up to that name. Even the Mad Lion from Ferropene stood no chance fight against you.”
He paused briefly. “But aren't you being too petty about this? The bet I said just now was all just fun and games. Mr, Cross, don't tell me you took it seriously. Are you really asking me to get on my knees and apologize?”
Right then, Simone interjected. “That's true. Everyone knew that General Reno's bet just now was just a joke. It shouldn't be taken seriously.”
“I agree,” Nakajima chimed in. “Eurasia is a big country. As the representative of Eurasia, you should have the good grace and let go of this matter, Nathan. Do you seriously want General Reno to kneel before you?”
