Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2178

Nathan took a look around without a hint of concern and stopped when his eyes were on Simone. “Now, I request that Reno fulfill his promise once again. Does anyone have any objection?”

Hearing that, Reno was shivering as he looked towards Simone for help.

Nakajima also looked Simone's way.

After all, holding the joint military exercise right in front of Eurasia's border to intimidate Eurasia was Simone's idea. He was the one who led the charge as well.

Now that a major issue presented itself, Simone was naturally the one who people looked to.

Simone himself knew that his stance was crucial.

If he showed any signs of fear, it would mean that even Ariarica was afraid of Eurasia. With that, the other countries were most likely never going to involve themselves in his plans to oppress Eurasia ever again.

Besides, Nathan just killed Asher the Warmonger right in front of him.

If he lowered his head and admit defeat now, he would become the laughing stock of the century; Ariarica would become a joke to the world.

So, Simone's expression darkened. “I have to say, you're good, Nathan Cross. But not good enough to earn you the rights to show such insolence in front of me.”

He then turned towards the spectators and asked, “Is there anyone that would like to help me take Nathan down?”

As soon as his sentence ended, a tall black man behind him came marching out. “Matthew, Chief Instructor of Ariarica military forces in Jetroina, requesting permission to fight.”

Nakajima also looked towards his subordinates and gave them a signal. So, a Jetroina warrior holding a katana in front of him stepped forward. “I, Mikaze Ittozan, will assist Commander Simone in challenging Nathan Cross.”

With them leading the charge, a lot of expert fighters from other countries also came forward and announced their willingness to assist Simone.

Everyone responded to his call to arms with just one question, and Simone was very pleased.

“Nathan Cross, look at what's happening. All these elite fighters are saying that they want to fight you because I asked. So, take your pick. I doubt you'll be able to win them all.”

Reno and Nakajima sneered at the back when they heard that.

They formed the alliance because they wanted to push Eurasia around. They felt really good at the moment since they had the advantage in numbers, so the odds were stacked against Nathan.
