Back at the Camden family, Bowen was sitting on the sofa with an extremely dark expression. Anyone could tell he was in a bad mood.
Federick was standing by the side, looking slightly distressed.
Federick had been the one who suggested that Bowen should send Clayton to Eurasia with some backup so they could teach Nathan a lesson. After that, bring Penny back to learn about her heritage and come back to her family.
Now, Clayton had been beaten up by Nathan and had come back empty-handed.
Of course, Bowen was furious.
Luckily, Bowen didn't seem to blame Federick. “How's Clayton?”
“His nose is broken and the corner of his eye has ruptured. The doctor says he'll live, but he won't look the same after this. If he wants to go back to how he used to look, he'll have to undergo plastic surgery.”
A broken nose and a ruptured eye corner!
Bowen's expression darkened even further. His son had always been taken care of by everyone who ever came across him. When has he ever suffers such embarrassment?Nathan Cross has to pay for his actions.
Bowen said in a low voice, “I've been promoted to viscount status by Eagleland's royalty. As viscount, I want to make a protest to Eurasia and force them to punish Nathan, who has injured my son gravely.”
Federick replied, “On it! However, Eurasia might not punish Nathan. After all, he was their
general. Even though he's no longer of any use, Eurasia might not do anything to him because of his previous contributions to the country.”
Bowen said, “Just make the protest first. I know some officials in Eurasia. If I say the word, they'll be more than happy to help the Camden family punish Nathan.”
“Got it,” Federick replied.
