Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2224

The next day, Nathan left for Brimmopolis with Colin and the Elite Eight after bidding goodbye to his family.

Having always kept a low profile, Nathan also chose to go with the public airlines instead of the military's private jet this time.

Yet, unknown to him, the Blackwell clan had ordered their men beforehand to spy on him.

Therefore, news of him making his way to Brimmopolis reached the headquarters of the Blackwell clan and Carlton in the blink of an eye.

Looking at Carlton, Eton exclaimed, “Master, Nathan is on his way here to meet you. He still knows how formidable you are despite being an arrogant guy. I guess he's ready for his deserved punishment.”

Ezra snickered. “I thought that b*stard would see things through to the end! It turns out he's only but a coward! I can't believe he'd be terrified by Dad's words that he'll hurry over to accept his punishment.”

Slowly sipping on his tea, Carlton did not make any comments. However, he could not disguise the jubilance within him.

He was smug at how his words had seemed to work and that Nathan was rushing overto Brimmopolis.

Around noon, the flight Nathan boarded safely landed at Metro Brimmopolis Airport.

As Nathan walked out of the airport with Colin

and the Elite Eight, Eton came before them and stopped them in their tracks with a hundred of his subordinates dressed in sturdy clothing.

Eton sneered, “Nathan, we've been waiting for your arrival for a longtime.”

Nathan was bewildered. “Who are you?”

Eton stuck his chin out and arrogantly said, “We're from the Blackwell clan. I'm Eton Lucien, and my Master is the head of the Blackwell clan, Carlton Anderson. You've made this trip here to ask for forgiveness, right? I'm here to bring you to meet my Master. Follow me.”

As he was still speaking, eight black Jeeps came to a halt beside them. Over ten men over six feet tall, dressed in black suits, walked out.

They were the Felidae Battalion of the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor, and they were there to welcome Nathan.

Because Nathan never liked any attention, the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor did not send out the royal procession to welcome his return this round. Instead, they sent sixteen well-suited Felidae Battalion in Jeeps to pick him up in a low-profile manner.

At the sight of the sixteen Felidae Battalion not too far away, Nathan smirked and looked toward Eton and his men. “I'm sorry. I don't have time to meet your Master.”

Eton scoffed, “I'm afraid this isn't up to you to decide!”

Nathan chuckled. “If you want me to follow you, you might first have to ask if they agree to

Nathan then raised his finger and pointed toward another angle.
