Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2232

Carlton's favorite student was a young fighting expert called Deke Gillan. The young man was furious when he saw his master kneeling before a brat like Nathan.

“Hey, who do you think you are, you arrogant punk? How dare you force my master to kneel before you? Gah! I'll kill you for that,” roared Deke, who was going to attack Nathan right away.

Several disciples of the Blackwell clan felt just as angry, and they were going to attack alongside Deke.

“Hold it right there,” commanded Carlton quickly and angrily when he realized what was happening.

That angry howl stopped Deke and the others short.

The young lads turned to Carlton and stared in confusion.

Deke, in particular, felt unjustly reprimanded. “You are a powerful man, so he has no right to get you to kneel for him."

The others chimed in and insisted, “He's right. There is no need to fear him. It doesn't matter how strong this guy is, because there is no way he can crush the entire Blackwell clan. If everyone attacks him simultaneously, we can defeat him. We can also ask the fighters from other divisions to help. There are the divisions within the country, the ones stationed overseas, the ones on the islands...”

Carlton was already on edge, and hearing what

Deke and the others said made him feel worse.

Are you idiots kidding me? It's like you boys have a death wish.

Carlton was under a lot of pressure, and he panicked. “Mr. Cross is the Chief Military Governor, and he holds the highest military power in the country! You lot have no right to talk to him like that.”

The Chief Military Governor!

Deke and the others felt a chill run down their spines when they heard that. The men stiffened instantly and looked as though a bullet had just torn through their hearts, and they were about to die. Fear oozed out of their eyes as they stared at Nathan.

Deke swallowed hard. “W-What are you saying?

W-Wasn't he dismissed from his position as the Commander-In-Chief of the North Army? Shouldn't he have lost all of his power? How is he suddenly the Chief Military Governor?”

Carlton glared at Deke and the others before growling, “Mr. Cross used to be the God of War of Eurasia, and now he has been entrusted with a crucial military position. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

“Why are you boys still standing around for? Kneel before the Chief Military Governor and beg for his forgiveness now! Or do you wish for him to annihilate our clan entirely?”

Thump!

Deke knelt down.

Thump! Thump! Thump!
