Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 230

Jerry's face turned completely horrific by now.

He inched closer to Sylvie like a venomous snake, and patted her face lightly while saying, "What did you say just now? Say that again?"

Sylvie looked at Jerry with fear and trembled. "N-nothing...l was the one who did everything. I thought of the idea and I found the hacker, and this had nothing to do with neither Mr. Zabinski nor Mr. Jerry."

Jerry then said in a sinister manner, "Are you sure?"

Sylvie immediately nodded and said, "Yes, I'm sure, I'm very sure..."

With that, Jerry was satisfied and he told her, "Then, you should know what to say if you get caught. If you give out the wrong information, not only will you die but you will cause the death of many other Larsons. Have I made myself clear?"

Sylvie stared at him with fear in her eyes, "Yes, I know what to do."

Jerry turned to Giovanni and said, "Mr. Russo, I think we should grab a drink somewhere else to continue discussing our collaboration on how we can get the sales rights to the liver cancer vaccine from the Mad Doctor."

"Sure!" Giovanni replied.

Then, the two of them left immediately with their men.

Sylvie was now left in the room all by herself. After all the evil deeds that she had done, she was finally having a taste of her own medicine tonight. She could not help but sob profusely.

Alas, she left to bear the consequences alone as she had brought all these upon herself.

It was not long before a team of police officers broke into the room along with some reporters from the Channing Television Station. They were there to do live broadcasting on every detail of the arrest.

The captain of the Investigation Unit said to Sylvie gravely, "Ms. Larson, you are suspected of being involved in many a few cases including broadcast signal intrusion which took over a cable channel, and slander on Ms. Penny Smith. Please come to the police station with us and assist in our investigation."

At this very moment, Penny Smith and her family were watching the arrest on television together with the other diners inside Cloud Palace Restaurant.
