Nathan had already gotten off the boxing ring by then. He and Penny led Colin and Ava over.
After that, Nathan calmly ordered, “Tim, the guy lost the bet. Make him honor the terms of the bet and pay up. Oh, and after you collect the money, share it with Colin and Ava.”
Both Colin and Ava immediately claimed they couldn't possibly accept that gift.
Nathan grinned and replied, “Permission denied. You have to keep that money.”
After that, he turned around and left with Penny.
Colin and Ava hurried over to keep up with them.
No one cared about Tetsuo, who was at Tim's mercy. The latter had tons of experience working on issues like those, so he knew just how to make men like Tetsuo honor their words.
When they left Clearwater Shrine, Nathan realized that it was still too early, so he didn't take Penny back to the hotel.
Instead, they went to a quaint brewery and tasted some wine.
By then, Tim had already dealt with Tetsuo, who handed over all the cash he had with him. That wasn't enough to settle his debt, so the latter also promised to sell off all of his assets within three days to pay for the rest of it.
Tetsuo panted and slumped into the chair after Tim left.
The members of the Dagger Gang stared strangely at him.
Tetsuo lifted his head up and saw how they were looking at him. That infuriated him. He roared, “What the hell are you still standing there for? Gather all our men. I will have a battle against the War Dragon Chamber, and it will be an all-or-nothing war.”
Under normal circumstances, those men would work on the matter immediately after their boss issued the order.
However, things were no longer the same. Those men simply turned to one another without moving a muscle.
Tetsuo was angrier when he saw that his subordinates weren't executing his orders. He scolded, “Are you deaf? Didn't you hear what I said?”
