Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2309

Meanwhile, at an abandoned power station in the eastern suburbs.

Kristoff was sitting In his chair smoking a cigarette while the Monk and the Priest stood behind him with poker faces.

Tim was covered in blood and locked up in a cage not far off.

Several burly men from Jetroina stood guard by his cage. All of them had been hired by Tetsuo.

Those men were either cleaning their guns or their katanas.

“Don't just stand around. Quickly get into position for the ambush. Follow my signal the moment Nathan appears. If I signal for you to shoot, shoot. If I tell you to charge at him with your swords, charge at him with your swords,” Tetsuo urged.

“Yes, Mr. Fujiwara,” the men responded.

They then positioned themselves with their weapons on hand.

Tetsuo gave Tim, who was on the brink of death, a gleeful look after everything was in place. “Lone Star, your master will probably be here very soon. Don't you worry. I will finish him off first before killing you so that you don't feel lonely on your way to hell. Hahaha!”

With that, Tetsuo made his way toward Kristoff. “Mr. Young, everything is ready. I've prepared a hundred rifles and nine hundred katanas for my subordinates. And let's not forget those two generals of yours. It'll be a one-way trip for Nathan if he comes this time around.”

Kristoff nodded his head in satisfaction. “Very good!"

However, the Monk and the Priest didn't think much of it. They figured they were more than enough to finish

Nathan off and that Tetsuo's arrangement was redundant.

Time slowly ticked by, but Nathan had yet to show himself.

Kristoff started to grow uneasy. Is Nathan not coming?

Tetsuo frowned. “Could it be that Nathan knows something's up and has given Tim up? Is he scared?”

Kristoff kept quiet.

The Priest sneered. “He wouldn't show up if he has a brain.” “That’s right. He must have chickened out,” the Monk echoed.
