Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2312

Kristoff panicked. “Mr. Cross, please spare me. Please, spare me! I won't do it again, I promise! Please let me off this once. I'll do whatever you want me to!”

He lowered his head as he spoke, not daring to look Nathan in the eye as his eyes darted nervously back and forth.

Nathan could immediately tell that he was saying all these to save his

skin. He's probably going to come after me again after this.

However, Nathan decided not to expose him. “You said Mr. Perez sent you here?” he asked coolly.

“Yes, he believes in the pharmaceutical industry's prospects. The one who can come up with a cure for cancer will be the biggest cash cow for the industry. Thus far, Cross Corporation has been the most successful. Novah Pharmaceutical Company could never catch up anymore. Hence, Mr. Camden and Mr. Perez agreed to partner up. Mr. Perez would deal with you by kidnapping Penny and returning her to the Camdens, while Bowen would take over Cross Corporation. We would then work together toward the future of the pharmaceutical industry.”

Nathan sneered. “Hah! You thieves are trying to steal the fruit from the tree we planted. Doesn't your plan seem too good to be true? Call Mr. Perez now!"

“Yes. Right away,” Kristoff replied.

With that, he immediately dialed Quentin's number.

At that moment, Quentin was swimming in the pool.

He swiftly climbed out of the pool when he heard his phone ringing.

A few beautiful blonde women sauntered over. They waited on him with some towels and a bathrobe.

On top of that, a tall, burly bodyguard handed him his phone respectfully.

He lit up a cigar and sat himself down on the deck chair.

“Kristoff, how are things going?” He spoke arrogantly through the phone.

Nathan replied, “Not too good. He screwed up.”

Quentin was stunned as an unfamiliar voice reached his ears.

He immediately narrowed his eyes.

“Nathan Cross?”

“In the flesh.”

Quentin changed his sitting posture and smiled a smile that did not reach his eyes. “Are Kristoff and the others in your hands?”

“Kristoff is the only one left!”
