As soon as Sosuke finished his sentence, Tim, who was beside Nathan, uttered coldly, “There is no need to kill a fly with a spear. Hence, there is no need to trouble Mr. Cross.
I will kill you.”
The next moment, Tim started stepping toward Sosuke.
The latter recognized Tim and let out a provocative laugh. “Lone Star, I heard you got scared. You even sold all your properties, dismissed your subordinates, and were ready to run away. How dare you still come here and put up a tough front?”
Tim quickened his pace. “That's nonsense. You're just a bunch of cowards. Why would I be scared of you?”
Sosuke felt a wave of anger wash over him upon hearing that insult. “You're dead meat!”
With that, he pulled out his weapon at his fastest speed.
Clang!
However, when his sword was pulled out halfway, he suddenly heard a clear unsheathing sound of a sword coming from Tim.
Tim had already pulled out his whip sword ahead of Sosuke.
Sosuke's pupils dilated, his face filled with horror.
He wanted to avoid it, but Tim's sword was too fast for him.
Thump!
Tim’s whip sword pierced through Sosuke’s throat like lightning.
With Tim triumphing in a single move, he shook off the trickle of blood on his sword.
Sosuke's body collapsed to the ground. His eyes still widened from the shock, and his hand was still holding on to the sword that was pulled out halfway.
Those from the Yori Corporation were beyond terrified upon seeing the captain of their ninth squad killed instantly by Nathan’s subordinate.
The next moment, Tim sheathed his sword and retreated to Nathan's side.
“Mr. Cross, I've killed the enemy. This way, please.”
Nathan nodded slightly as he led Penny and the rest and marched toward Tiger Hall.
Yet, a short while later, someone blocked their way.
It was a lady in uniform, with the number three written on the back of her clothes. She was holding a sword as her body exuded a strong murderous aura.
She was the captain of the third squad of Yori Corporation, Chisu Hana.
Chisu sneered coldly. “D*mn that useless bast*rd from the ninth squad. He deserved to die. But that is as far as your luck goes today. If you want to meet my boss, let's see if you can defeat my sword.”
