Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2401

Nathan was just as shocked when he felt the power behind Claudius' attack earlier.

This old man has got to be the strongest fighter I've ever encountered over the years’ Honestly, I was expecting him to continue the fight instead ofjust handing Bryson over like this...

Having developed feelings of respect for Claudius, Nathan replied politely, “I admire your profound sense of justice and righteousness.”

Claudius turned toward Raphael and asked, “Who was it that got himself in trouble? Have him step forward.”

“It’s Bryson, Master Claudius...” Raphael replied.

He then turned toward Bryson and shouted, “Hey, Bryson! Come forth and apologize to Master Claudius! It’s time for you to accept your punishment!”

Bryson's face was all pale as he nervously walked up to Claudius.

As he was about to kneel and beg for forgiveness, Claudius waved his arm in his direction.

Two razor-sharp leaves came flying out of his sleeve and severed the tendons behind Bryson’s heels, forcing him into a kneeling position instantly.

Claudius then shifted his gaze back to Nathan as he said, “Nathan, I have disabled both of his legs for you. You may take him away now.”

“All right, we'll be on our way. Farewell,” Nathan replied with a nod before walking off.

Colin quickly hoisted the disabled Bryson over his shoulders and followed him outside.

They then left with Bryson in custody

soon after.

Claudius waited until Nathan had disappeared from sight before shifting his gaze back toward Raphael and the others.

He had an icy-cold look in his eyes as he said, “The Norris family has been one of the five Reclusive Families for thousands of years, and yet, you lot have managed to tarnish its reputation completely.”

Raphael prostrated himself before Claudius and said with a trembling voice, “This is all because of my incompetence, Master Claudius! I failed to protect the good name of our family! Please punish me as you see fit!”
