“Take my advice. There's still time for you to repent for your actions,” Nathan warned them in an icy tone.
As soon as he finished his sentence, Penny interjected, “It's too late!”
She pointed at the two inconspicuous corpses in the near distance.
A spark of fury lit up in Nathan's eyes as his furious glare slid toward Jett.
“Did you kill them?”
Jett broke out in laughter. “That's right. Don't worry, Nathan, you'll be the next one to die.”
“You b*stard!” Without warning, Nathan lunged at Jett.
Nathan's sudden attack caught Jett entirely by surprise as the latter was still in the midst of enjoying his wine.
A blurry figure flashed across Jett's gaze. In the blink of an eye, Nathan had materialized in front of him at lightning speed.
Stricken with fear, Jett spluttered like a fish out of water, “You—"
Before Jett could finish his sentence, Nathan unleashed his anger and sent his palm across Jett's cheek.
The force of Nathan's slap was so strong that Jett's skin split apart.
Blood and broken teeth spewed out of his mouth as he fell off his chair and onto the ground.
Although I did not cause their deaths, nor did I know these guards personally. These innocent victims died because I decided to spare Jett's life.
The mere thought of their needless sacrifice consumed Nathan with rage and guilt.
A single slap would not suffice to quench his roaring anger.
Blinded by fury, Nathan advanced toward Jett with the intention of ending his life.
Yet, he found his path blocked by two large figures.
It was none other than the Supreme Heavenly Duo.
“Don't touch him. We are the ones you should be fighting,” Kit thundered.
“I'll kill you if you dare lay another finger on him,” Irvin added as he cracked his knuckles menacingly.
Upon seeing this, Colin and Ava made their way forward in preparation to fend off the Supreme Heavenly Duo.
Nevertheless, Nathan was still seething in anger. “I don't need your help,” he called out, halting Colin and Ava in their tracks. “Today, two innocent men lost their lives because of my actions. I will deal with these b*stards myself.”
It looks like Chief just lost his temper. Obediently, Colin and Ava fell back. “Yes, Sir,” they replied in unison.
Nathan gave the Supreme Heavenly Duo a predatory look. “Come on then. Face me with all you've got. Let me see how much the two of you enjoy slaughtering innocents.”
