Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 254

At the Zabinski family home.

When Kingston Zabinski found out about the death of his son and the arrest of thousands of the family followers, he fainted right away.

After he was awakened, he gave a deep sigh. "Our family's power comes from these followers controlling the underworld of all the Southern cities. With Finley dead and countless men captured, the Zabinski family is headed for ruination."

Charles Zabinski, his second son, reassured him, "Dad, the Zabinski family still has me and you. As long as we're still alive, the family will be fine."

Feeling comforted, Kingston looked into his son's eyes as he said, "My body is no longer as it was before. Now that your brother is dead, you'll have to step up and handle the family affairs temporarily."

"Of course, dad. Get some rest. I'll arrange Finley and Jerry's funerals first before I avenge them."

Nodding his head slowly, the old man painstakingly reminded, "Be careful. The Zabinski family cannot afford any more trouble.”

Charles left his father's room, closing the door gently.

Turning to his underling, he ordered, "Gather all the best fighters we have to head to Channing with me. I want to meet with Shannon Russo of the Russo family. With the both of us working together, there's no way that bastard, Nathan Cross, can survive."

"Yes, sir!"

By the time Kylie and Nathan arrived back at Riverside Garden, it was already evening.

Stepping into the house, they realized the living room was filled with people.

It was the Smith family that has come to visit. Sean had brought Samuel, Paul and the others with him here today.

Penny had an uncomfortable look on her face as she said, "Grandpa, Uncle Sam, Uncle Paul, Cross Corporations really doesn't lack any funds right now. I'm afraid I can't agree to your request to buy our shares at lower prices."

When Nathan heard Penny's words, his face instantly hardened. Every single time these bunch of men came, it was always with bad intentions. Either they were trying to take advantage of the situation, or they were here to exacerbate things.
