Renzo stared at Sofie in disbelief as he covered his cheek.
“How dare you slap me, b*tch?”
He raised his hand and aimed it at Sofie.
Paralyzed with fear, Sofie stood rooted to the ground, any notion of dodging the incoming attack slipped from her mind.
Panicking, Maya yelped and hurriedly rushed toward Sofie to shield her.
Just as Renzo was about to hit Maya, he heard a cold voice. “Stop.”
Freezing midway, Renzo and his subordinates turned in the direction of the voice.
A sedan had stopped beside them without them realizing, and a tall and well-built man had alighted from the car.
It was the man who told Renzo to stop just now.
When Sofie saw the man, she exclaimed, “Mr. Cross!”
It was none other than Nathan and Colin.
Nathan strode toward Sofie and asked, “Are you okay, Ms. Sofie?”
Sofie was already feeling nervous because she was in a foreign country. After the encounter with Renzo, she was completely terrified. However, she felt safe the moment she saw Nathan.
“We're fine, but they bullied us,” she replied softly. “Mr. Cross, I heard that Eurasia is a safe place. That's why I didn't bring any of my bodyguards. But now I have to say that I'm quite disappointed.”
Fury boiled within Nathan when he heard that.
All it takes to ruin Eurasia's reputation are the likes of these bustards!
He said, “The public security in Eurasia has always been good. These three guys are an exception. So please don't let these b*stards ruin your mood, Ms. Sofie.”
Sofie smiled. “All right. I'll leave them to you then, Mr. Cross.”
Renzo's eyes widened. “Hah! Looks like someone's not afraid of death! Fine, I'll make your wish come true in that case.”
With that said, he stepped forward and threw a punch at Nathan's face.
However, his fist was caught by Nathan.
Stunned, Renzo gaped at Nathan like an idiot. Before he could recover to his senses, Nathan had already slapped him in the face.
The slap was as fast as lightning and much more powerful than Sofie's.
Slap!
The sheer force of it sent Renzo's skin splitting open.
He spat out a mouthful of blood and broken teeth as his body flew sideways before finally landing
heavily on the ground.
