A handsome young man was standing by the lake, glaring viciously at Nathan. The former's eyes glowed with surprise and fury.
Just then, a few men in swimming trunks showed up with a volleyball set.
“Hey, Bradley. What are you looking at?”
The men traced the handsome young guy's line of sight and saw Nathan there. It didn't take the other guys long before they noticed Nathan's companions, Kylie and Sofie.
When they saw the blue-eyed biondie, Sofie, they couldn't help saying, “Huh? Isn't that the foreign chick you have been courting?”
Bradley had a hostile expression on his face. “Yes, that's her. She's Sofie, the foreign student who has just started attending the university I go to. Before class was dismissed this Friday, I invited her to hang out together over the weekends. She turned me down and claimed that she had to go to some tuition classes and study. Who would've thought that it was actually an excuse? She simply wanted to go out with some other dude. F*ck that woman!”
The young man’s expression turned more menacing, and the fury in his eyes burned brighter.
It turned out that the handsome young man in question was the same overly enthusiastic student who had been badgering Sofie, and his name was Bradley Turner.
When his friends heard what he said, they became upset as well.
“My gosh, I can't believe that foreign chick is so shameless, and that guy is quite gutsy. How dare he go after the woman you have your eyes on?
Bradley, should we teach that punk a lesson on your behalf?”
Bradley narrowed his eyes in anger. “Do it!”
Soon, Nathan, Kylie, and Sofie made their way out of the water after their swim.
They were about to change out of their wet clothes when Bradley and his friends showed up to bar the path.
Bradley had a skin-deep grin on when he looked at Sofie. His tone was off when he said, “Hey Sofie. I didn't think I'd bump into you here. What a coincidence.”
Sofie was also surprised to see Bradley there.
After a momentary daze, she recomposed herself, and her smile returned soon after. “Hi, Bradley. Yeah, what a coincidence. I came to hang out with my friends.”
