The following noon, Nathan's private jet landed at the main airport of Valmora.
President Adolf led Woste, other top officials, and the honor guards in welcoming Nathan with the grandest ceremony.
Dressed in the phoenix military coat with a Leviathan mask on his face, Nathan disembarked the aircraft with Sage and the rest of his men.
The crowd went wild as they cheered him on.
Those who were in the know knew that Valmora was welcoming the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia, while those that had no idea figured that the hero of Valmora had returned.
Meanwhile, in the embassy of Ariarica, Max and his subordinates were watching Nathan's arrival on TV with grim faces.
When Max first arrived in Valmora, he was not greeted with such a grand and warm welcoming ceremony as Nathan.
As he watched Adolf embrace Nathan affectionally, he instructed in a cold tone, “Shearson, tell Blackgoat they can make their move.”
Shearson bowed respectfully and said, “Yes, Admiral Max!”
In a suburb near the capital of Valmora, there was a huge industrial park.
That industrial park was bigger than a small town.
It was here that the pharmaceutical factory by Cross Group was built.
The investment was estimated to be around three hundred billion.
So far, a hundred billion had gone into the project.
The factories within the industrial park had already finished construction. Tall skyscrapers abound.
However, there were still lots of people busy at work.
Various types of transportation were going in and out of the facility.
All of a sudden, several armored jeeps appeared at the entrance of the industrial park.
The security guards went up to stop those uninvited guests.
One of them went up and asked, “Who are you guys? What are you doing here?”
At the front of the fleet was a black Hummer. The window on the passenger side lowered, and there was a tough-looking middle-aged man with blond hair. He had on a pair of sunglasses and was chewing gum.
The blond-haired man smiled and said, “We are from the national security team here to perform our routine inspections.”
The security guard was shocked. “Inspections? We didn't receive any notice. Do you have the relevant
documents?”
