Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2630

Sigurd and his men stared at Nathan with fear when they heard that.

Nathan shouted coldly, “Colin!”

Colin and the Elite Eight took the hint at once and suddenly pulled out their guns in unison.

Woosh!

The Elite Eight pressed the dark muzzles of their guns against the foreheads of Sigurd and his subordinates.

Sigurd was shocked and furious. “You He hadn't finished speaking yet before Colin shoved his gun into his mouth.

The gun’s coldness and smell of metal spread in Sigurd's mouth. His pupils widened as his face turned pale. He lifted his hands in response.

Colin informed coldly, “When the Chief Military Governor personally leads a team for a secret military operation, everyone must cooperate unconditionally. Right now, your department has been taken over by the military. If you resist, you will be seen as obstructing a military operation, and you'll be executed on the spot.”

Drip!

Sigurd's sweat streamed down from his forehead and dropped to the ground.

Suddenly, he realized that even if his department wasn't part of the military or under the Chief Military Governor's jurisdiction, Nathan could still have them under control. It would be a piece of cake for Nathan to take their lives.

He was trying to reason with the unreasonable.

A bureaucrat like Sigurd could play tricks, but a soldier could just shoot him in the face for not complying.

Nathan stared at the trembling, sweat-covered Sigurd and sneered in his heart. These fellows live in a peaceful era, which is why they don't show any respect to the soldiers who have survived a bloody battlefield before.

“Do you see now? This is my rule!” Nathan uttered plainly.

Sigurd's face flushed red as his eyes were filled with fear. Sadly, his mouth was stuffed with Colin's gun. Even if he wanted to beg for his life, he couldn't.

However, Garrett had told him not to interfere with Zion’s matter the previous night.

The person supporting the Goodall brothers was Erwin, and Garrett was backing Erwin.

Since Braydon had submitted to defeat, Nathan decided to let the matter go and asked, “I'm going to meet Mr. Lucas right now. Do you have any objections to that?”

Braydon smiled and hurriedly answered, “Of course not! Besides, Zion has already confessed.”

Nathan was shocked. He abruptly shifted his gaze to Braydon. “What did you say? What did Zion confess?”

A smug look flashed across Braydon's eyes, though he hid it well and answered, “He admitted that he had received gifts from others. While the bribes do not amount to a large sum, he has broken the law far too many times. My report on the case has been submitted to Mr. Holmes and the president. Soon, the president and Cabinet will decide how to deal with Zion.” Nathan was enraged. “Are you sure you aren’t framing Mr. Lucas and forcing him to make the confession?”

“You mustn't make false accusations like that, Chief Cross. Also, Zion is doing fine right now. If you don't believe me, feel free to ask him yourself,” L ray don said.

Nathan said, “Okay, I want to meet him right away.”
