Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2770

Nathan furrowed his eyebrows slightly.

Tears were streaming down Quintin's face as he continued to beg on his knees. Staring down at Quintin, Nathan had a feeling that he was telling the truth.

“Who's your boss?”

Quintin raised his head. “Duke Szymon!”

Nathan nodded. “All right, I'll ask him to compensate, but don't think you're off the hook completely.”

With that being said, Nathan stood up and ordered Colin and Ava to bring Quintin back to the embassy so he could deal with Quintin later.

“Yes, sir!” Colin and Ava chorused.

At the same time, Colin appeared in front of Quintin and struck the back of Quintin's neck with the edge of his hand, knocking him out instantly. He then carried Quintin's unconscious body away along with Ava.

Nathan, Colin, and Ava exited the office.

In the courtyard, the four members of the Elite Eight were still standing proudly. Countless security members of Robin Security had collapsed onto the ground around them.

Many other employees of Robin Security stood watching afar from a distance. All of them had fear etched on their faces.

Nathan and the others waltzed out under the gazes of the crowd.

Back in the embassy, Penny approached the incoming entourage.

“Hubby, has the issue been settled?” she asked in concern.

“I've taught the general manager of Robin Security a lesson, but the imperial jade seal has been taken away by the owner of the company. Looks like I'll have to get the imperial jade seal from Szymon,” Nathan stated casually.

Upon hearing that, Penny grew worried. “Duke Szymon? I've heard of him. According to word on the street, he was born into a wealthy family and attended the royal military school since young. He is highly distinguished on the battlefield and was known for his short temper. Because of that, he is also nicknamed Duke Thunderstorm.”

Penny's brows inched together.

“Moreover, I heard that he has always been extremely unfriendly to Eurasians. In fact, he's said to be antiEurasian! He was probably unhappy about the fact that we bought the imperial jade seal from Eagleland back to our country. Hence, he asked someone to cause trouble for us so that we wouldn't be able to bring our national treasure back smoothly. If we have to get the imperial jade seal back from him, it's going to be extremely difficult.”

The guilt in Carlos' heart increased.

He began to scold himself. “I have always been cautious in all my actions, but I would have never imagined myself to cause such a huge mistake by being careless this once. President Cross, this is all my fault. Please fire me from my position and punish me accordingly.”

Nathan responded icily, “This is not the time for you to quit. You'd better get yourself together and redeem yourself. Otherwise, I'll make you pay for your mistake after all this is over.”

Carlos quickly answered, “Understood!"

Nathan turned to Colin. “Inform

Duke Szymon of Eagleland that I will be paying him a visit this afternoon.”

“Got it! I'll see to it right away!”

With that being said, Colin hurried off.

Crossing his hands behind his back, Nathan turned to look out the window and muttered emotionlessly, “Szymon, oh, Szymon. I hope you know what's best for you and do not seek trouble. For one reaps what one sows.”
