Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2798

After being lost in his memories for a brief moment, Nathan pulled himself together.

He leveled a cold gaze at Moab and said indifferently, “You don't deserve to know who my master is.”

Moab's expression turned hostile at Nathan's reply.

He's clearly looking down on me.

Anger stirred within Moab at the slight. “You're the most arrogant man I've ever met. I hope you can keep that attitude till the end.”

He lifted his walking cane, and in a flash, he charged toward Nathan.

This guy's speed is superbly fast, almost to the extreme.

In the blink of an eye, Moab had disappeared from the crowd's sight and reappeared in front of Nathan, seemingly out of thin air.

His movement speed was so fast it was akin to teleportation.

With a step, Moab closed in on Nathan. Using his cane as a spear, he thrust it toward Nathan's neck.

Nathan retreated, narrowly dodging the tip of the cane.

Moab's attack was like a flowing river. There was no stopping it once it started.

His hand was moving so fast that an afterimage that looked like ten million silver snakes slithering in mid-air formed as his cane weaved through the air.

Nathan's speed wasn't too shabby either. His silhouette flickered readily among the cane's afterimages while he dodged, making it seem easy.

Moab jabbed several hundred times within a breath, but his attacks didn't even graze Nathan's sleeve.

That knowledge frustrated Moab. He began to attack more vigorously.

Boom!

The cruise ship bore the brunt of the attack almost instantly. Moab's indiscriminate barrage of attacks riddled the deck with holes.

The ship swayed with an intensity as though it could capsize at any given moment.

The people onboard the ship clung to any railing they could get their hands on, afraid they would be thrown overboard from the aggressive rocking motion.

Anxiety flared within Moab when he noticed his storm of attacks was futile against Nathan.

With a clench of his jaw, he decided to unleash the technique he had kept up his sleeve.

Drawing back a few meters, Moab slammed his cane heavily against the deck, stabbing it into the floorboards.

Every werewolf on the scene immediately dropped to their knees in worship.

Meanwhile, Jurgis and the rest

slumped on the deck as they stared at the frightening Moab with sheer terror in their eyes. Some even wet their pants.

Nathan, on the other hand, still kept his cool. “Celestial Law. I heard from Mr. Windsor that only a few within the top rung know this ability. He told me they used Celestial Law to manipulate their physical size, height, and strength. However, I had never seen them use it. I can't believe I got to see someone use the ability tonight and here of all places,” he mumbled with a frown as he observed the monster-like Moab towering above the sea.

Moab peered down at the child-sized Nathan and sneered. “This is a sacrifice of ten years of my life in exchange for a blessing of power from Wolf God. Nathan, you should be glad that your life is worth that many years of mine.”

Nathan calmly stated, “I heard the elites could boost their height up to ten meters tall with Celestial Law. Yet, your Celestial Law only increased your height by two meters. It seems your Celestial Law is nothing special.”

Anger rolled through Moab at Nathan's snub. “You already have one foot in the coffin but are still being stubborn. I'll send you on your way,

then!”

With that, he raised his larger-than-a-boulder fist and swung it in Nathan's direction.

The force of that punch rivaled the crushing pressure of a mountain.

Colin and the Elite Eight exclaimed, “Watch out, President Cross!”
