Letting out a gentle sigh, Kraven related how he and Lothar got separated.
Back then, Lothar hurriedly parted ways with Nathan due to a particularly complex problem.
Not long after that, he dismissed Kraven.
Kraven explained, “During that time, Master told me that he had something very important to attend to. In fact, it was so dangerous that he was worried he might not survive. Consequently, he forbade me from going with him and had me wait in the West for his return. After spending three years waiting, I knew I had to do something when he didn't turn up. Hence, I began to inquire about him and travel the world searching for his whereabouts.”
Nathan furrowed his brows upon hearing Kraven's words.
He hadn't expected his master to encounter a problem so difficult that the latter had to part ways with Kraven and him.
From his perspective, Lothar was a titan in terms of strength.
The latter is one of the most powerful elite warriors on earth, if not the most powerful. Therefore, if even he finds the matter troublesome, the danger involved must certainly be unimaginable.
Nathan added calmly, “Mr. Macalister, throughout your recent travels around the world to track Master down, have you really not heard any news at all?”
Kraven replied, “I waited in the West for three years before wandering across different nations for another three. It wasn't until recently that I confirmed Master traveled to Ariarica before we lost contact. Unfortunately, I ran out of money just when I wanted to travel there. With no other choice, I went to the lawless Mille Crescent Island to work as an assassin, hoping to gather some funds in order to resume my search. Little did I expect to run into you there.”
Pausing briefly, Kraven smiled at Nathan with pride. “After going our separate ways, I knew that you had joined the army. Nevertheless, I'm surprised at how much you've achieved now that we have met again. From the way you look, you must be a navy admiral, right?”
Navy admiral?
Penny, together with Colin and Ava,
was stunned for a fleeting moment before bursting into laughter.
