Bang! Bang!
Kaiser staggered as several bullets struck his body.
Lucio was elated. He assumed he had shot Kaiser dead and avenged his comrades.
Alas, his smile froze a second later.
He was stunned to realize that Kaiser was unharmed by the bullets.
In fact, Kaiser brushed his clothes, and bullets clattered on the floor.
Lucio was dumbfounded.
What kind of a monster is he? Why is he unharmed by bullets?
At the same time, Gianna merely smiled calmly at the bullets flying her way.
Suddenly, she twisted her body and morphed into a black bat.
In her bat form, she easily dodged the sea of bullets and charged at Lucio's group.
Herbert, who stood at the head of the group, felt the adrenaline pumping through his veins.
He swiftly raised his gun and fired a bullet, striking the bat that flew toward him.
The bat appeared to fall to the ground, yet right before it landed, it morphed into the familiar form of the blonde woman.
Gianna opened her mouth and spat out the bullet fired by Herbert earlier.
The bullet traveled even faster than being fired from a gun.
It flew straight at a horrified Herbert.
“Be careful!”
Amid Ava's terror-filled warning, the bullet had lodged itself between Herbert's eyes.
Blood splattered from the gunshot wound as he fell backward.
“Herbert!” Lucio shouted as he witnessed Herbert’s demise.
A furious roar later, Lucio and several soldiers charged at Gianna, wholly unconcerned about their safety.
The woman sneered coldly and met them head-on.
