Ronnie and his friends slunk away.
Some staff members came into the ring to move Rock's corpse away.
Nathan, Bryon, and the others filed out of Warriors Arena. Each of them harbored different feelings.
Bryon had been planning on having dinner with Nathan tonight, but after getting humiliated countless times, he lost the mood to join them for dinner.
He made up an excuse and left Newcove with his subordinates.
That very night, Mueller and his wife organized a banquet for Nathan and Penny.
Mueller lifted his glass to offer an apology toast. “Mr. Cross, President Bryon couldn't stay for dinner as something urgent cropped up. However, he ordered me to give you a warm welcome. I would like to make a toast on behalf of him.”
Nathan's lips curled as he took his glass. “Thanks for the warm welcome. Cheers!”
Everyone clinked glasses and returned to their seats.
Mueller was a good friend of Nathan's, and since Bryon and Max weren't around, Nathan could relax as he chatted with Mueller casually. Dinner was a pleasant affair.
Mueller said cheerfully, “Mr. Cross, you asked for my help to investigate the whereabouts of your elder, Lothar Macmaster, right? My subordinates told me recently that they found immigration records of him entering the country. It will only take them a day or two before they pinpoint his current location.”
Nathan's eyes lit up at the news.
Kraven, standing among the bodyguards behind Nathan, could barely hide his delight.
Nathan responded happily, “That's great! You have my sincerest thanks if they manage to find my master.”
Mueller told him, “You saved my life, so helping you find someone is nothing. Mr. Cross, as long as you don't break the law or risk our country's safety, I shall do everything within my means to help you.”
