Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2907

In the nick of time, Nathan did a flip and nimbly dodged Max's desperate kick.

Alas, Max's kick missed its intended target and ended up landing on the Lady Freedom instead.

Boom! came the loud noise.

Max had kicked a crater into the neck of Lady Freedom.

Crumbling pieces of the statue began to pelt the ground below.

What happened next was the shocking collapse of the humongous Lady Freedom.

Boom!

The head of Lady Freedom fell onto the port and shook both the land and the sea.

Meanwhile, Nathan, who had flipped into the air to avoid Max's attack, was plummeting straight at Max with a punch.

At that moment, Max was standing on the copper torch of Lady Freedom. It was not a small spot, but neither was it a spacious one. It would be near impossible for Max to avoid Nathan's fist.

Moreover, he was grievously injured. Even if he could register the attack and mentally react in time, his body might not be able to keep up with his mind.

Therefore, he could only release a roar of despair before desperately raising his arms to try to block Nathan's attack.

Bang!

Nathan's fist hit Max's arms, and the tremendous impact broke the latter's arms.

Then, Nathan shot out another punch at Max's body, and it struck him like a bolt of lightning.

The copper torch could not withstand the punch at all. It cracked and broke off.

Thump!

The copper torch, which had an approximate height of ten meters, smashed onto the ground of the port.

The ground shook again, throwing up dust.

The soldiers on the Ghost Ship, as well as the port workers, had all run far from the scene before looking at the dust-covered, half-destroyed Lady Freedom.

Bam!

Nathan had stomped Max's head into the solid ground.

Max stopped moving.

Gazing down at Max's body, Nathan hissed, “Idiot.”

With that, he turned and walked toward the Ghost Ship.

There were many guards and armed soldiers at the port, but none dared to make any rash moves. They were all afraid that any slight movement from them would enrage the murderous Nathan and tempt him into decorating the place with their blood.

Nathan went aboard the Ghost Ship without any interruptions.

By then, the Ghost Ship was in a rather pitiful state as well. The deck appeared as if it had been wrecked by artillery fire.

The soldiers who had survived were all sprawled on the floor, not daring to lift their heads or even make a sound too loud. They were like small critters greeting the king of the beasts, too fearful to even move an inch.

Nathan then turned on the communication device that looked exactly like a button and calmly asked, “Colin, Kraven, Kerry, how are things going on your end? Respond if you hear me.”
