Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2936

On the sea, the Dragon Warriors were about to return to Eurasia when Colin hurried over and reported to Nathan, “Mr. Cross, bad news!”

Nathan frowned and asked, “What's the matter?”

“Wallera's president Jaymes is truly an unpredictable man. We've just left, and he has already sent his man to slaughter the people at Little Eurasia. Giancarlo and the others are in hot water now!”

What?

Anger overpowered Nathan when he heard that.

The other warriors and residents were equally furious.

With a grim expression, Jermaine said to Nathan, “President Cross, I can't believe the madman has the guts to kill our people. Get ready, Dragon Warriors! President Cross, we await your orders.”

Everyone turned to look at Nathan. Whether the fleet was to return to settle the score with Jaymes or continue their path back to Eurasia was up to Nathan.

Nathan commanded in a deep voice, “Dragon Warriors, prep for battle and head back to Wallera!”

“Yes, Sir!”

Jermaine saluted Nathan before turning around to order his subordinates. “Ready for battle! Turn the ship and head to Wallera as quickly as you can!”

“Yes, Sir!”

Immediately, all crew members on the warship hurried away to complete their respective tasks.

The warship turned as swiftly as it could as the radar began running. At the same time, the artillery was activated, and all the soldiers were in positions in preparation for combat.

On their way back to Wallera, Nathan found out that a massacre had occurred in Little Eurasia. Giancarlo was the only surviving member of his family, and everyone living in Little Eurasia had either fled or died.

Fury overcame Nathan when he learned that.

Jaymes is impossibly bold! How dare he taunt me?

Soon, the news of the Dragon Warriors' imminent return traveled into Jaymes' ears.

Jaymes panicked and ordered his navy forces to stop the Dragon Warriors.

Soon, dozens of old and small warships with around three hundred soldiers came to intercept the Dragon Warriors.

Without hesitation, Nathan gave his order to Jermaine. “Annihilate them!”

He could still remember clearly the way Shoshana had offered him salted peanuts earlier in the noon, but now he felt as if the world had turned upside down.

As Nathan held Shoshana, he whispered, “Mdm. Littleton, can you hold on?”

Shoshana gave him a weak smile and said feebly, “President Cross, I can't... After you left, a group of strangers barged into this place and killed everyone they saw... I regret my decision so much. I should have gone with the rest. I want to see the new look my home country has adopted and visit my kin back in my hometown, but it's too late now... I still want to be a Eurasian in my next life.”

With that, her head drooped to the side. She was gone.

Tears welled up in Nathan's eyes, and he whispered, “Sleep well. I'll bring your body back for your eternal sleep in the country where you belong.”

Right then, a large group of enemies appeared.

Sanguine and his comrades, as well as Wallerian soldiers, walked over with a bloody Giancarlo as their hostage.

When Sanguine saw Nathan, he sneered, “Nathan, as expected, you've come back to die.”

The way Nathan lifted his head to look at Sanguine and the others was as if he was looking at animals he was about to butcher.

In a glacial voice, he uttered, “That's where you're wrong. I've come back to kill you all!”
