Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2946

Holding her black umbrella, Mr. Cross stared at Nathan seriously. Her beautiful face exuded a hint of charm when she smiled and said, “After you, Mr. Cross.”

Nathan did not even glance at Medusa. He simply glared at Chev and asked, “Are you sending your subordinate to fight me because you want to test the water first? Or is this a part of your strategy to drain my energy? Regardless of what your intentions are, I will share one piece of information with you—all your efforts are for naught. Step forward and fight me yourself. That way, your innocent subordinate will not have to suffer and be sacrificed.”

Chev scoffed at his words. “Talk to me after you've defeated my subordinate. Don't be so proud. It'd be so ridiculously embarrassing if you can't defeat my subordinate after making all those claims.”

“President Cross, maybe I should fight his subordinate instead,” Colin offered.

Kraven stepped up as well. “Perhaps it's best if I take this fight, Mr. Cross.”

Even Sevan was barking and acting as though he wanted to fight.

However, Nathan calmly replied, “This is about my master's well-being, so I will deal with it personally.”

After saying that, Nathan shifted his gaze to Medusa and stated coldly, “Ladies first.”

Medusa smiled charmingly. “Okay, then.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she zipped toward Nathan while still holding her umbrella, moving like a bolt of lightning toward the man.

She used her umbrella as if it were a spear and tried to slit Nathan's throat.

A dark shadow showed up, and the umbrella moved like a dragon.

Upon seeing Medusa's move, Colin, Kraven, and Sevan were flabbergasted.

She might be a woman with a stunning smile, but she did not hold back at all. Her very first move was already lethal.

Fighters who were even slightly less skilled would die from that single move.

The way Medusa attacked also proved a single point—Heavenly City truly was filled with fighting experts.

A hint of surprise flashed past Nathan's eyes as well, but he threw his punch immediately after.

He used his fist to combat the sharp end of his opponent's weapon.

Chev could not help but felt surprised at the sight.

The fighters of the Room of Taurus were stunned as well.

Nathan actually had the guts to go against Medusa's umbrella with his fist. It was clear that he did not see Medusa as a threat and was, in a way, fighting with one hand behind his back.

Even so, she swallowed the surprise in her. A complex expression bubbled up on her face, and her tone carried a hint of anger when she spoke again. “Mr. Cross, you truly know nothing about how a gentleman should treat a beautiful woman, huh?”

Nathan calmly replied, “Or maybe you're just not nearly as beautiful as you think you are.”

At his words, Medusa widened her eyes as she stared at Nathan, disbelief written all over her face.

The truth was that her beauty did not just give her an advantage in life and in work. It would also help her in combats.

It did not matter who her opponent was. Her beauty and charm would always make them instinctively show mercy.

To her surprise, it did not work on Nathan at all.

Medusa's face turned dark as embarrassment painted her features. “You sure are straightforward, Mr. Cross,” she spat through clenched teeth. “In that case, you should prepare to face my wrath!”

After saying all that, she pulled two daggers out of her possession and held them in each hand. She then bent down a little, then ran toward Nathan.

The way she moved was as quick as the wind, and her daggers were like lightning. In a way, the two daggers had turned into some sort of tornado that was heading for Nathan.

It seemed Nathan would never have the chance to even react, as he would soon be engulfed in the sharp tornado.
