Nathan and Chev both backed off after that clash. They put some distance between them and stared at each other.
For the first time in forever, Chev felt the pain coming from his fists, and that pain fueled his desire for battle. He announced, “You're worthy of my full power, God of War.”
Nathan answered calmly, “Again.”
“Then I shall defeat you with a Eurasian move. It's more interesting that way.”
He stopped using his military martial arts and instead performed a typical Eurasian Ancient Arts stance.
“Infinite Sea!” He pushed his left hand forward, but he was a few yards away from Nathan, so that hit couldn't have reached him.
Colin was confused. “What is he doing?”
Right then, Chev pushed his right hand forward, then his left, then his right, and again and again and again.
Kraven was a veteran who traveled the world and saw a lot of things in his life. His face fell, and he explained, “That's an Ancient Art called Palm of Infinity. That's the most powerful form of that skill—Infinite Sea. He's stacking his power right now.”
He's stacking his power?
Colin and Sevan stared at Chev in shock.
As Chev kept pushing his palms forward, a storm was starting to brew, and power stacked up until it almost formed a wave. Even the soil was pulled into this hurricane of palms.
The Dragon Warriors and Pacific Ocean Fleet were situated a few miles away on the sea, and they, too, were alarmed by the shockwave of that clash.
The commanders of both fleets quickly asked what was going on. They wanted to know what this shockwave meant. The commanders asked if the enemy had opened fire, but their soldiers said no. The radars didn't detect any missiles in the air.
That perplexed the commanders. That wasn't caused by missiles or torpedoes? Wait. It's from the battle between Nathan and Chev? D*mn! What kinda monsters are they?
Back on the island of Twin Flowers, all the spectators had finally regained their bearings after that great showdown between two fighters.
To their shock and horror, Nathan destroyed Infinite Sea and pushed Chev back by a few dozen yards. The island was also broken in half by the force radiated by the fighters' clash.
On one half stood Nathan, and on the other, Chev.
