Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2950

Everyone from the Room of Taurus unsheathed their weapons and roared at Nathan.

“Let the dean go!”

“Let him go!”

“Or we'll kill you!”

These guys were more bark than bite. None of them would even step ahead for fear of Nathan's power and the hostage he was holding.

Nathan didn't care about these weaklings either. He tossed the dying Chev on the ground and announced coldly, “You lost. According to the bet, you're telling me everything about my master.”

Chev coughed up seawater and blood. He huffed and puffed, and he said weakly, “And if I refuse?”

Nathan answered calmly, “Then I shall kill you, but before I do, I will finish off all your lackeys.”

Chev's face fell, and he clenched his teeth. “Very well.”

Nathan said, “Don't test my patience. Is my master, Lothar Macmaster, imprisoned in your city? And where is Heavenly City?”

Chev was about to answer, but Nathan stared straight into his eyes and warned, “I've been working for the military for many years. Interrogation is nothing for me. I can see through you if you're lying, so don't even try to pull anything. Tell me one lie and I'll make your life a living hell. You do not want to see that.”

Chev looked a little angry, and he gnashed his teeth. “I've seen a lot of powerful people locked in the city, but none of them goes by the name of Lothar Macmaster.”

Nathan's face fell. “Who wrote this system?”

Chev said, “You'll have to ask the person in charge for that.”

Nathan asked again, “And who's this person in charge?”

“We don't know his name, age, or race. The only thing we know is that he's a guy, and only because we've heard him talk. He's the main person in charge of Heavenly City's Project Ragnarok. Everyone in the Twelve Rooms works for him. He has absolute power in Heavenly City, and we call him Allfather. He's like a god to us.

“If you get the chance to meet Allfather, perhaps he will tell you how he got his hands on Blade of Seasons, and he might even know where your master is. But he's probably the one who killed your master. I doubt you'd have enough guts to find him. You wouldn't want to see him. He's the absolute strongest fighter in this world, and you're just a maggot to him.”
