“The Deans from the Room of Taurus and the Room of Aries are here!” shouted the guard standing at the door.

Chev, who looked really pale, and Ricardo, who looked rather sickly, stepped into the hall at the same time.

They made their way up to Allfather and bowed as they said respectfully, “Greetings, Allfather.”

Allfather's icy-cold voice echoed throughout the hall. “I'm utterly disappointed in you two. I figured Chev would have a hard time taking Nathan on by himself, so I sent you to help him out, Ricardo. Instead of bringing me good news, you two got defeated and came running back with your tails between your legs! As if that wasn't bad enough, quite a lot of your men have been taken captive! It's only a matter of time before they find out about Heavenly City's location and secrets!”

Chev and Ricardo immediately got on their knees and said in unison, “Please punish us for our failures, Allfather!”

“Hmph! I've thought about killing you two, but we are a little short on manpower at the moment. I'll give you two a chance to redeem yourselves!” Allfather replied with a snort.

Chev's and Ricardo's eyes lit up with joy and relief. “Thank you, Allfather!”

“Don't thank me. If anything, you should be thanking Admiral Max!” Allfather said coldly.

Huh? Why should we thank Max?

Noticing the confused looks on Chev's and Ricardo's faces, Allfather added, “Because Admiral Max called me in person and told me not to kill you two. He also made a request of Heavenly City. Apparently, he will be making a move on Eurasia soon, so he will need a team of elites to help him out. When the time comes, he will recruit some men from Heavenly City.”

Allfather then stared at everyone else in the hall as he continued, “All of you from the Twelve Rooms, including the Deans, have the potential to be chosen by Admiral Max, so be prepared.”

The operations managers and Deans began murmuring among themselves after hearing that.

“Allfather, what kind of mission will Admiral Max have us carry out?” Ricardo asked.

“He seems to be needing a lot of us for this. What exactly is the mission?” Chev added.

“We don't know that yet. Just make sure you're all well prepared,” Allfather replied.

“Understood!” everyone shouted in unison.

“Not at all! I'm just doing my job as a civil servant!” Zion replied with a chuckle.

Nathan then took turns shaking hands with each and every member of the Great Cabinet before arriving in front of Penny and her family.

Penny was looking more and more like a pregnant woman, with her tummy bulging a little beneath her white dress.

She had a sweet and gentle charm in her eyes as she smiled at Nathan.

Ripples formed in Nathan's calm heart when he saw his beautiful wife.

“You've gotten skinnier, Penny!” he whispered while holding her hand.

Penny blushed a little when she heard that. “No, I haven't! Mom, Dad, and Kylie have been taking really good care of me lately. They fed me so many nutritional meals that I've gained a few pounds!”

“Only a few pounds? That's not enough for a pregnant woman like you! You need to gain at least dozens of pounds!” Nathan said with a chuckle.

Penny didn't know whether to laugh or cry in response to that.
