Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2994

Nathan exchanged dozens of blows with Broderick.

By then, he had figured out that Broderick was using his master's technique.

All of a sudden, he moved away from Broderick and uttered, “Are you using Semi Tempestas Strike? Where did you learn this from?”

Broderick froze for a second, but he soon bared his teeth with a grin. “I don't know what Semi Tempestas Strike is, but the technique I'm using right now is one of Heavenly City's S-Class techniques. How is it? Isn't my S-Class technique great? Are you finding it hard to keep up now?”

Nathan growled, “Where did this S-Class technique come from? Did you steal it from the fighters you imprisoned?”

Broderick did not know why Nathan was asking those questions.

He only sneered and said, “If you want to know the answer to that, you should be asking Heavenly City's person in charge, Allfather. Sadly, I'm going to send you to hell today. Too bad you won't have the chance to see our Allfather in this lifetime.”

Nathan drew his brows together.

I doubt I'll be able to get any more information about my master from Broderick. It looks like I really will have to meet the legendary person in charge of Heavenly City to get the answer I'm looking for.

Hence, Nathan declared, “Since you can't answer my questions, then there isn't a point in keeping you alive!”

Right after that, Nathan stopped holding himself back and changed his fighting style into an offensive one.

Whoosh!

Broderick's vision blurred for a moment, and in the next second, Nathan appeared in front of him.

He nearly gasped out loud.

The speed Nathan was moving now was far quicker than before.

Could it be that this is his true capability?

Before Broderick could recollect himself, Nathan had already lifted his hand up and swung it downward.

Broderick swiftly parried the punch.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Each and every strike of Nathan's relentless assault was getting more and more powerful.

Hidetake's katana turned into a blade of light once more as it headed straight for Nathan's back.

Without even needing to turn his head, Nathan pulled out The Unsullied and swung it behind him.

Crack!

The Unsullied easily broke Hidetake's katana and left a bloody mark across Hidetake's neck.

Hidetake froze in his spot with his broken sword.

When he lifted his left hand to touch his neck, he found warm blood coating his hand.

Soon, all his strength fled him as if something had drained it from him. In the next moment, he fell backward and died.

“This is bad! Mr. Broderick's dead!”

“Oh my god, General Hidetake has been killed as well!”

When the Adrunian fighters and Jetroinian warriors learned about Broderick and Hidetake's death, they shouted in surprise.
