Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3011

Nathan stood there with his hands behind his back.

It wasn't until Agastya's sword got close that Nathan finally raised his left hand, balled up his fist, and punched the approaching sword.

Seeing that Nathan was using his fist to defend himself against the sword, the deans and the guards of Heavenly City gaped in disbelief.

Even Varuna, who was watching the battle from the side, couldn't help but draw his brows together.

Judging from the masks of those mysterious people, they're surely from Eurasia. But when did Eurasia ever have such a powerful person who could easily defeat the Four Angels and even dares to use his bare fist to fight Agastya's sword?

Varuna watched Nathan closely with narrowed eyes.

He was certain that if the mysterious man with the dragon mask was not a lunatic, his strength must be unimaginably strong.

What happened after proved that his judgment was not wrong.

Soon, Nathan's fist collided with Agastya's sword.

Boom!

An ear-splitting boom rang out, and a gust of wind whooshed out from the point of collision, spreading toward the surroundings like raging waves in a storm.

Due to the strong air current, Colin, Sevan, and Kerry were forced to move back, and the guards of Heavenly City even tumbled over.

Shock was written all over everyone's faces.

They couldn't believe that Agastya's sword didn't pierce through Nathan's fist despite the former's strength.

Instead, it was Agastya's long sword that vibrated and buzzed non-stop after its collision with Nathan's fist.

If the sword were a living thing, the humming sounds that it was making must have been its agonized howls.

Agastya, too, was forced by the strong force transmitted from the long sword to take a few steps back.

He stared at Nathan with a grim expression.

Once a fighter made a move, one would know if that person was truly powerful.

Nathan's punch made Agastya realize that the former's strength was definitely superior to his.

His associate, Varuna, also noticed that.

Varuna drew out a sword named after himself, and in a flash, he appeared beside Agastya and said in a deep voice, “Agastya, the enemy is too arrogant. I shall fight alongside you.”

Agastya boasted just now that he would send Nathan straight to hell, but just after they exchanged one move in the duel, Agastya couldn't bear it anymore and had to seek help from his associate. At that moment, he felt humiliated.

Nevertheless, he knew that if he didn't work together with his partner, he would definitely lose.

Therefore, even though it was humiliating, he could only set his ego aside. “All right, Varuna. Let's take this vermin down together.”

Colin and Sevan were enraged when they saw that the Light and Dark Messengers were about to join forces to attack Nathan.

In the eyes of everyone else, Nathan, who was facing Varuna's sword that brought along thousands of huge waves, seemed like a child standing in front of a natural disaster.

It looked as though Varuna's sword could crush Nathan into pieces in less than a second.

Nathan merely scoffed and threw his palm outward.

The moment Nathan struck, his aura changed drastically, and his figure seemed to become tall and powerful all of a sudden.

His palm, like the first ray of sunlight at dawn, instantly pierced through the night, making the darkness disappear without a trace.

It was also like the power of Medusa, whose gaze could instantly subdue the onlookers.

As soon as Nathan made a move, Varuna's attack was destroyed, and the former's palm landed on the blade of Varuna's sword.

Buzz!

The long sword cried as its entire blade was curved. Then, it straightened out again.

Fortunately, the long sword was a fine weapon forged with great skills and effort. If it were an ordinary sword, it would have been shattered by Nathan.

Even so, Varuna was sent skidding backward for a few meters, his feet leaving two long, deep marks on the hard ground.

After much effort, he managed to stand still, but he felt his organs aching and almost vomited blood.

Luckily, he held back the urge to barf and swallowed the blood that came up his throat.
