Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3061

Knock! Knock!

Nathan had to tap on the counter before the female cashier finally lifted her head sleepily. She stared at him in confusion.

He grinned. “Get up. I need you to choose some clothes for my friend.”

The girl was stunned for a moment before finally noticing Colin, who was standing behind Nathan, as well as Hepburn, who was completely filthy.

When she saw Hepburn, her expression changed instantly. The girl angrily pointed at her and said, “You're filthy, and you stink. Who let her in? Hurry up and leave—”

Hepburn, the Holy Maiden, had been looked down on by a mere cashier in a small supermarket. Her face was flushed red.

Thankfully, her face was covered in grime as well, so nobody could see the blush on it.

Without even waiting for the cashier to finish, Nathan moved to push her hand down. At the same time, he shoved a wad of cash in her hand and smiled. “My friend accidentally fell into a ditch. Could you help her choose a pair of proper clothing? This is a tip for you.”

The girl widened her eyes. In the face of Nathan, who had a noble aura and spent his money generously, she crumbled immediately.

She hurriedly pocketed the tip and put on an expression of respect. “Okay. I'll choose some clothes for your friend. Does she need undergarments, too?”

“Of course!” Nathan replied while smiling.

The cashier turned to ask Hepburn for her height and measurements.

When Hepburn responded with a blush, the cashier was wide-eyed. She clearly hadn't expected Hepburn to have such a good figure. Not only was she tall and slender, but she was also in shape. Essentially, she had the body of a goddess.

The girl told them to wait for a moment while she personally selected some clothes for Hepburn.

As they were waiting for her, a group of uninvited guests walked in.

“Hmph! It looks like they're here.”

It was a foreigner with hazel eyes. He and his subordinates made their way to Nathan and the others with a murderous aura.

Hepburn got anxious right away. She instinctively got behind Nathan in an attempt to hide.

“Stay away from me,” Nathan muttered.

When she heard that, she was filled with despair.

As the foreigner and his subordinates grew closer, he threatened, “Both of you, hand Ms. Hepburn over to us, and we'll spare your lives.”
