Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3072

As it turned out, the man was the son of the current Alpha Wolf, Raytor.

His name was Kaiden.

Despite being the son of the alpha wolf, Kaiden was treated with the utmost respect by the werewolves.

Even so, Raytor had always been dissatisfied with his son's performance. He never praised Kaiden, regardless of how well the latter performed. Instead, Raytor would lecture him on how he could have performed better.

As such, Kaiden never received the acknowledgment and compliment of his father, even though he soon grew up to become an elite among the werewolves.

Eventually, he couldn't stand it anymore and left his father as well as the werewolf clan. Kaiden then lived among the humans as he continued his training.

Over the years, he had killed countless powerful humans and fed on their hearts.

Not only did all those killings make him a powerful werewolf, but they also made him infamous. The Curia labeled him as the most savage and terrifying werewolf. They even gave him the nickname Rainy Night Killer due to his preference to kill humans on rainy nights.

Meanwhile, Kaiden had just killed off a few indigenous people. He was feeding on their hearts when he saw the news of Queenie being the future Holy Maiden on television.

Nathan was completely oblivious to the fact that his daughter had been targeted by a werewolf immediately after her news was aired on television.

He was too busy being mad at Laura, who had come to visit him.

Nathan was wearing a suit as he sat in the living room with a cigarette in his hand. The smoke surrounding him made him look all the more mysterious, powerful, and terrifying as he stared her down.

Even Laura was feeling a little nervous as she stood before him.

Nathan's tone was neutral as he said, “I don't even know how to describe my feelings right now. I suppose anger is what I'm feeling the most.”

Laura protested, “Mr. Cross, most people can only dream of becoming the next Holy Maiden! Your daughter—”
