Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3157

In the middle of the night, Nathan, who was sleeping, suddenly opened his eyes.

After getting dressed, he stepped out of the room.

Colin and Sevan appeared almost at the same time.

“What's the matter, Chief Cross?” inquired Colin.

Calmly, Nathan answered, “We have guests.”

Both Colin and Sevan were slightly stunned. Guests? But tonight has been uneventful—

Before they could complete that thought, their sensitive hearing picked up the howling of wolves in the distance.

Their expression changed when they swiftly realized the werewolves were attacking.

It was then the Seven Champions and Elite Eight also noticed the werewolves. Without delay, they rushed to Nathan.

With a grim expression, Myron stated, “There's a situation, Chief Cross. Enemies are attacking.”

Nathan smiled. “I bet it's because Raytor has received my challenge note and was enraged. Come, let us take a look if he's here.”

While he was bringing his subordinates outside, the Curia gathered in a hurry.

The bounty hunters and wandering warriors who came to help had also sensed the incoming danger.

Allot led his veterans and also gathered with the others in panic.

He uttered, “We're doomed! The challenge Eurasia's God of War issued had definitely infuriated Alpha Wolf! The werewolves are going to destroy this place!”

When Colin and the others followed Nathan out and heard what Allot said, they were irritated.

In fact, Colin strode toward Allot, lifted him into the air, and barked coldly, “I already told you lot that you're free to flee if you don't have the guts to stay and fight! Since you lot chose to stay, you aren't allowed to spout demoralizing words! Otherwise, don't blame me for court-marshaling you.”

Allot was startled by Colin's expression and sealed his mouth shut.

Some were anxious that they had to face more than a thousand wolf riders and that an ugly battle awaited them.

On the other hand, some were glad that the werewolves didn't mobilize their entire force. Thus, they stood a chance of winning.

It was then the wolf riders surrounded the entire town.

If one swept their gaze across the edges of the town, they would see glowing green eyes in the darkness of night.

Out of nowhere, the howling wolf riders turned silent.

Then, they made way for someone to pass through.

A beefy, intimidating man slowly stepped out of the wolf rider army. Accompanying him were more than ten generals.

Hepburn couldn't help but remark when she saw that domineering man illuminated by the faint moonlight. “It's him. He's one of the ten War Gods of the werewolf clan, Nessus.”
