Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3175

Instinctively, the members of the werewolf clan turned to look at the high priest.

Steen never thought that there would be a day when a decision from him would decide the life or death of the clan.

At that very second, it felt as if the weight of the world was on his shoulders. Cold sweat kept beading on his forehead and rolling down his face.

Gritting his teeth, he then responded, “The fate of the werewolf clan can only be decided by the alpha of the clan. Whether we fight on, or surrender will be up to the Alpha Wolf.”

Nathan was stunned when he heard that.

Isn't the Alpha Wolf, Raytor, dead? His body is kneeling right before me! What does Steen mean by he's going to let the Alpha Wolf decide?

Just as Nathan was gripped by bewilderment, Steen began chanting under his breath.

Shortly after, a strange scene appeared.

A faint humanoid figure appeared under the moon, and the figure had Raytor's face.

A spirit?

This time, even Nathan was taken aback.

The truth was that it was no spirit.

In the first dozens of minutes after a being's death, the consciousness still lingered. However, the body was no longer functional, and the consciousness could not control it anymore.

After the death of the body, the consciousness would begin to fade away.

In the next second, everyone—humans and werewolves—all focused on Nathan.

After a moment of silent contemplation, Nathan replied, “I, as the deputy commander of the Hundred Nations Gods of War Alliance, the president of Eurasia, and the God of War of Eurasia, will swear that, as long as the werewolves leave the human cities and return to the woods to never do any evil, humans will spare their lives. We will not hunt every last one of you down.”

Raytor seemed delighted and relieved to hear that.

He replied, “Nathan, I've always heard about your gentlemanly ways. I hope you'll stick to your promise.”

With that, he turned to Steen and the other werewolves to command, “Listen to my order, fellow werewolves, leave the human cities and countries and return to the mountains. We will never step foot into human society ever again. Those who go against my command shall be punished by the Wolf God.”

All the werewolves answered in unison, “Yes, Alpha Wolf!”
