Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3195

By the time Nathan, Leopold, and the others made it back to the headquarters of the alliance, it was already past midnight.

In Eurasia, however, it was only about nine o'clock at night then.

As soon as Nathan returned to his room, he had a video call with Penny.

Penny was heavily pregnant and would be giving birth soon.

“I knew you'd definitely be able to get to the bottom of things and obtain information on the Shadow Research Institute, Hubby,” she stated sweetly.

“Have you received the data I asked my subordinates to send to Cross Group?” Nathan asked smilingly.

“Yeah. I've already ordered the research and development team to begin researching overnight. The whole team has officially started working overtime and devoting themselves to be the first to develop the serum to counteract the blood virus,” Penny said.

Nathan nodded. “Great. Keep it up. If we manage to be the first country to develop the serum, Cross Group will be established as the world's leading pharmaceutical company. Furthermore, this isn't merely Cross Group's glory but also that of Eurasia's.”

“I know. I'll do my best,” Penny promised.

“But you've also got to be mindful of your health. Your delivery date is around the corner, and you may go into labor anytime. Have Mom, Kylie, and Ava take care of you. In work matters, just guide them in the right direction. As for the specifics, let the professional researchers handle them,” Nathan reminded gently.

When Penny heard her husband's undisguised concern for her, a wealth of warmth suffused her. With a sweet smile, she replied, “I will. Don't worry.”

The two of them chatted for a while longer before ending the call reluctantly.

While Nathan was on the phone with Penny, Wolfric did not remain idle.

Although he was at the headquarters of the alliance, he immediately ordered the relevant authorities within the country to arrest the Charleigh family as soon as he had reported to Bryon.

Other than a few core members of the Charleigh family who caught wind in advance and fled, the majority were detained.

In just a night, the world-renowned affluent family, the Charleigh family, collapsed.

Before long, that news spread to the vampire-occupied territory, the kingdom of vampires, and finally, Max's ears.

When Max learned that not only had his brother and most of the household been arrested, but the entire family had also collapsed to the point of downright ruination, he was beyond livid.

His wrath mounted when he found out that the matter was inextricably linked to Nathan and Wolfric.

Nathan was his lifelong enemy, the nemesis he hated most.

Wolfric, on the other hand, had always been someone he trampled under his feet. But never had he expected the man to take his position and become a God of War after he turned into a vampire and left the human world.

The ruination of his family this time became the trigger that had him truly make up his mind to go and kill Nathan and Wolfric.

Since the Patriarch of the vampires, Herod, issued the kill order, countless vampire elites had been bursting at the seams to make a move against Nathan.

However, the man was presently the commander-in-chief of the Hundred Nations God Of War Alliance.

He was stationed at the headquarters of the alliance, and not only was he powerful, but he also had numerous elites around him.

For that reason, vampire elites like Lux and the others could not find a suitable opportunity to kill him despite wanting to do so.

News of Max going out all to launch an attack on Nathan and Wolfric soon reached another vampire prince.

The vampire prince was none other than Lux.

Over the moon, Lux promptly summoned the elite soldiers under his command to prepare a sneak attack.

“Since Max wants to go and kill Nathan, let him take the lead. When the battle has almost ended, we'll make an appearance and reap the benefits. Haha...”

Nathan and Wolfric were probably oblivious to the fact that two vampire princes had had their eyes on them both at the same time.
